Aaron D. Cruz Garcia:

Aaron "inkling" Cruz Garcia grew up and lives in the Pacific Northwest, where he enjoys access to multiple locations lush with fungal growth - from the high plateaus and mountain lakes to the Redwoods to the Oregon Coast.
He picks mushrooms year-round throughout Oregon with his friends, children and his dog, Opal. He is also Co-owner and Director of Operations at Cafe Verde Farms & Dispensary in Grants Pass, Oregon and has been an advocate for Cannabis Legalization and Normalization since the 1990's.

He has been drawing since he was a kid, and has been a contributor to Fungi Magazine since 2008 and the Telluride Mushroom Festival since 2010.
The inkling is a self-taught Illustrator, Mycologist and Graphic Designerand has helped lead and guide forays in the Opal Creek Ancient Forest, and areas surrounding the Rogue Valley in Southern Oregon and areas surrounding Telluride.
His favorite fungus is Hericium aaronaceus (lol).
